Hay Festival Sevilla
In the historic city of Carmona, near Seville, I had the pleasure of opening the doors of La Casa de María for a special brunch to mark the close of the Hay Forum Sevilla 2024. Celebrating Carmona’s rich cultural legacy, we showcased fresh produce from the garden and wood-fired creations, inviting our guest speakers to share a poem in its original language.
Among the readers were poet Braulio Ortiz Poole, Caroline Michel, President of the Hay Festival Foundation; Julie Finch, CEO of the Hay Festival; writer Miquel Molina; Beltrán Gambier, director of Intramuros magazine; and myself, with poet José Félix Valdivieso as our master of ceremonies.

En la histórica ciudad de Carmona, cerca de Sevilla, tuve el placer de abrir las puertas de *La Casa de María* para un brunch especial que marcó el cierre del Hay Forum Sevilla 2024. Celebrando el rico legado cultural de Carmona, presentamos productos frescos del huerto y creaciones cocinadas a la brasa, invitando a nuestros ponentes a compartir un poema en su idioma original.
